Nazma M. Rosado
Executive Coach. Principal Consultant, Avion Consulting. Former buyer of exactly the kind of work I now sell.
Most executive coaches have spent their careers on one side of this relationship, the side that pitches, presents, and hopes the sponsor renews. I spent the first half of mine on the other side, as the person deciding whether to renew.
The Buyer-Side Story
Before I built Transformative Consulting and joined Avion, I ran Learning and Organizational Development at Genentech, Astellas, and EMD Serono, three organizations where I held the budget for exactly the kind of engagement I now deliver. I know what a proposal looks like when it’s built to get funded, and what it looks like when it’s built to actually work, because I turned down the first kind more times than I can count.
Concrete Proof
I co-chaired the TransCelerate Biopharma Change Management Council, aligning 15 competing pharmaceutical organizations around shared change management standards. It was not a room where agreement came easily. That’s still the work I do best: getting people who don’t naturally align to move in the same direction, with something durable to show for it afterward.
Credentials
The formal training sits underneath all of it: PMP certification since 2012, Prosci ADKAR since 2010, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and, more recently, a PMI Generative AI Certificate. I added the AI credential not because it was trending, but because the leaders I coach are already making real decisions about where AI belongs in their organizations, and I’d rather hand them a considered point of view than a reflexive one.

ON AI AND LEADERSHIP
AI is already inside most org charts, whether or not anyone planned for it. The live question isn’t whether to adopt it. It’s whether people trust how leadership is doing it. That’s a leadership and change question before it’s a technology one, and it’s where a growing share of my engagements start now.
Beyond the Client Work
I teach as adjunct faculty at Framingham State University and Suffolk University Law School, sit on the boards of the OD Network and the Mary Aline Gay Heart for Haiti Foundation, and wrote two books on the practice, Lead The Way and Don’t Be a D!ck. Industry-wise, my depth is heaviest in pharma and biotech, though the underlying pattern, people resisting change they didn’t ask for, shows up the same way in manufacturing, financial services, and private equity portfolio companies.
Does Tuesday work for a 30-minute call?
If you’re deciding whether to bring in outside help, or trying to understand why the last engagement didn’t stick, that’s usually the first conversation we have.
